In this video Mark Donovan of shows how to remove ceiling water stains from a ceiling by first applying a stain sealer to the ceiling.

To remove ceiling water stains, start by solving the roof leak. Then check the attic for mold and mildew growth caused by the roof leak.

Next, wipe down the ceiling with a bleach solution to remove any mold or mildew on the ceiling.

Then apply a Bins stain sealer to the ceiling water stains. Make sure to wear safety glasses when applying the Bin stain sealer.

Finally, if necessary, apply a fresh coat of ceiling paint to completely eliminate the ceiling water stain.
