An Ebook for Constructing your own Do it Yourself Workbench

In this video Mark Donovan of HomeAdditionPlus.com discusses his “How to Build a Workbench” ebook.
Every garage, basement, or workshop needs a work bench. Though you can buy a pre-made one at any home improvement center, chances are it won’t be rugged enough for doing much and it’ll be more expensive than building your own. It’ll also probably take just as long to assemble it as building your own.
Over the years I’ve designed and built many workbenches for my garages and basements.
In the process, I’ve come up with a simple yet rugged workbench design that is easy to build and costs less than most pre-made ones. I’ve captured my workbench design and instructions on how to build it in my “Build a Garage Workbench” Ebook. The Ebook contains a materials list and detailed instructions on how to construct a workbench that even a novice DIY homeowner can follow. It also is loaded with instructional pictures to help supplement the text and ensure you build the workbench correctly. |
The workbench is constructed out of 2x4s and plywood and is held together using carriage bolts and screws. I also show techniques in making lap joints to ensure a solid and rugged workbench that won’t rack. The only power tools you’ll need for building this workbench is a circular saw and a drill. The workbench plans in this ebook are for a 4 foot by 2 foot workbench with a top and bottom shelf, however, you can easily adjust the plans to build a larger workbench if so desired.
To purchase my ebook on building a workbench simply click on “How to Build a Garage Workbench”. It is immediately downloadable upon completion of purchase.
