Prevent cold drafts by window sealing around the exterior of your windows with window caulk.

Make sure to use a waterproof exterior grade caulk when applying window seal caulk.

Apply 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide bead of window caulk where the clapboards butt up against the window frame.

Use a moist finger and run it down the length of the window caulk to create a smooth seal.

Window sealing and window caulk is easy and inexpensive. So stop the cold drafts and save on home energy bills this winter by caulking your windows.
