Due to the fact that the particular crack in this video is located on the ridge of the cathedral ceiling I knew it would just reform if I simply re-taped and mudded it. Due to temperature changes the framing will expand and contract and cause the crack to reform if I simply re-tape and mud it.<\/p>\n<p>So, in this video I am using a couple pieces of mullion trim to hide the crack. I used a scarf joint to join the two trim pieces together in the middle of the ceiling peak and square cut the far ends.
