My projects have included: building a vacation home, building additions and garages on to existing homes, and finishing unfinished homes. I have also completed hundreds of smaller projects on existing homes including: Framing, Electrical, Plumbing, Deck Building, Tiling, Carpeting, Wallpapering, Laying Brick Walkways, Building Concrete Patios, Insulating, Drywalling, Finish Trim work, Door and Window Installation, and Painting.<\/p>\n<p>I was also a contributing writer to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weirs.com\/bio-markdonovan.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Weirs Times<\/span><\/a> for several years, a state wide newspaper in New Hampshire. My column &#8220;Home Improvement 101&#8221; was featured weekly in this newspaper. Some of my articles are also published nationally via &#8220;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Creators Syndicate<\/span>&#8221; for seasonal home improvement magazine pieces around the country.<\/p>\n<p>I have also authored thousands of articles and videos, combined, on home improvement projects, and my Vacation Home Project was featured on the DIY Network&#8217;s Be Your Own Contractor Vacation Home Series in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Besides a background in building homes and home additions, I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, and have spent most of my professional career as an engineer and marketing manager in the high tech space.<\/p>\n<p>I also hold a Real Estate License in the state of New Hampshire, so if you&#8217;re looking to buy or sell a home in New England, feel free to contact me at <b><a href=\"mailto:mark@homeadditionplus.com\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">mark@homeadditionplus.com<\/span><\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also a commercial\/instrument rated pilot and amateur radio operator (WB1FXS).
