With a push of a button on the Switchdriver, the dual chuck head can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise 180o for ultra-fast transition from drilling a pilot hole to sinking a screw. First, it has an LED worklight on the business end of it so that you can see what you are working on when using the tool.<\/p>\n<p>The Switchdriver tool also has a two speed button for controlling the rotational speed of the motor. In one position, with the push of the trigger switch the Switchdriver rotates at speeds from 0 to 400 RPMs. And in the second position, with the push of the trigger switch, the Switchdriver motor rotates from 0 to 1,500 RPMs.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a forward and reverse button on the WORX 20V MAXLithium Switchdriver for controlling the rotational direction of the chuck and drill\/driver bits.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the WX176L Switchdriver is powered by a 20V Lithium Ion battery for providing superior torque power. The battery has a 5 hour recharge time. Moreover, there is a thumbwheel on the base of the tool that can be adjusted to control the amount of torque supplied by the tool. The Switchdriver can provide up to 310 inch-lbs of torque at the highest setting on the torque thumbwheel, and has a drilling capacity of 1 inch in wood and 3\/8 inch in steel.<\/p>\n<p>The WX176L Switchdriver is also extremely rugged, yet only weighs 3 lbs with the battery installed.
