I recently had the opportunity to test out their latest cordless 20V Lithium Ion drill\/driver with this AutoSense\u2122 technology and was extremely impressed.<\/p>\n<p>The BDCDE120C Cordless 20V Lithium Ion drill\/driver is both compact and lightweight, yet has the power and toque for any homeowner application. It also has an over-mold handle for ensuring a solid grip and control. But again, what really makes this a cool tool is its intuitive AutoSense\u2122 technology. With the AutoSense\u2122 feature the tool has two modes of operation, drill and drive. In drive mode, an onboard microprocessor monitors the changing torque profile of the tool as the screw enters the material and stops the screw flush with the material within 3 milliseconds. The tool also includes a micro adjustment depth control feature to countersink screws to the desired level.<\/p>\n<p>In the drill mode, the tool\u2019s 0-800 RPM motor ensures the necessary performance for the fast drilling of any homeowner application.<\/p>\n<p>Also impressive with the AutoSense\u2122 clutch technology is how it enables the drill\/driver to be so much lighter and streamlined.
