Whether it\u2019s installing crown molding, door or window trim, or chair rail, a finish nailer ensures a more professional result. A finish nailer also saves time. With the pull of a trigger a finish nail instantly and accurately fastens a piece of trim in place. In addition, it eliminates the need for having to go back and countersink nails, as is the case when using a hammer and standard finish nails.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\" width=\"50%\">After I used a finish nail gun for the first time years ago, I never looked back. It is a rare case today where I use a hammer when doing finish carpentry work.<\/p>\n<p>I recently received from the local UPS driver a new finish nailer from Bostitch to test drive. Bostitch refers to this new nose design as Smart Point\u2122. Also integrated into the nose is a tool-free nail jam release for quick and easy nail removal.<\/p>\n<p>An additional advantage I observed with the Smart Point\u2122 feature is that the nose on the front end of this new finish nailer is much smaller than their previous nailers. Bostitch states that they have shrunk the noses on their entire new line of finish nailers by 80% with the integration of this new Smart Point\u2122 technology into them. Moreover, the Smart Point\u2122 technology eliminates the need to push against the work surface to actuate the nailer. As a result, visibility of nail placement and nailing into tight angled corners is much easier to do with the BTFP72155.<\/p>\n<p>Another unique advantage I found with the BTFP72155 Bostitch finish nailer is that it has an oil-free design. Thus there is no more worry about staining the work surface with oil when using this nailer. Bostitch claims the oil-free design also helps to provide a long life for the product. Apparently so, since they are providing a 7 year limited warranty on it.<\/p>\n<p>The BTFP72155 Bostitch finish nailer also has a selectable trigger system for contact or sequential actuation. In addition, it has a rear exhaust to direct air away from the user, and a tool-free nail jam release system for easy nail removal. It also has a Dial-A-Depth\u2122 control for precise countersinking of nails, again a great time saving feature.<\/p>\n<p>The BTFP72155 Bostitch finish nailer also has an adjustable belt hook for easy at hand use.
