It&#8217;s perfect for a plethora of DIY home improvement projects, as it cuts wood, metal, plastic, ceramic tile, and even masonry building materials.<br \/>\nLike all Dremel tools the Saw-Max Model SM20 is ergonomically designed so that it is extremely easy and comfortable to handle.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\" width=\"50%\">How many times have you worked on a home improvement project and found yourself needing to make a small straight cut, and having no choice but to reach for that big old clunky circular skill saw. I know I have countless numbers of times. Using a large circular saw on a small cutting project is like using a sledge hammer to tack in finish nails on a trim project. Moreover, it also is designed to make flush cuts using one of its specially designed flush cut saw blades. This feature makes it ideal for ceramic tiling projects where often a small section of door trim needs to be removed at the base of the door to allow the tile to slip under.<\/p>\n<p>The Saw-Max is controlled by a paddle switch with a special lock-off feature that provides an extra level of safety when operating the saw. For extended use applications it also has a lock-on button that enables the Saw-Max to run continuously without having to squeeze the paddle switch.<\/p>\n<p>The Saw-Max is also extremely light compared to the typical circular skill saw.
