If you decide to tackle an exterior house painting project outside of these weather conditions chances are the paint will not hold up well.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently the window of opportunity for exterior house painting is dictated by the local weather and climate in your area.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>In general, July and August are two of the worst months of the year to paint a house, for the sole reason that the house siding is simply just too hot to paint. Likewise, winter is an impossible time of the year for exterior house painting if you live in colder climates. The fall season is usually the best time of the year for exterior painting, followed by spring, although spring weather usually is quite rainy and humid.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\" width=\"50%\">Often the diy homeowner who chooses to do their own exterior house painting finds him or herself tackling it in a guerilla type warfare approach. This approach involves painting portions of the home over an extended period of time as weather conditions permit.<\/p>\n<p>Another approach used by diy homeowners is to have a weekend exterior house painting party where friends and family are called in for a weekend of painting and cookouts. The only problem with this approach is that often more than just the house is painted.
