Rockwell Tools recently announced a new mini circular saw that includes a built-in laser guide. Rockwell call’s it their Versacut saw, and for good reason. Because of its small size and light weight, weighing in at only 4 lbs, it’s a great saw for a variety of cutting tasks.

The motor operates at 3,500 RPM with no load. There is a blade height adjustment knob on the Versacut that allows the blade depth to be easily adjusted in 1/8 inch increments. A trigger with a lock-off safety switch resides underneath the barrel handgrip. Also, integrated into the saw is a dust extraction port for keeping the work area clear of dust.
