The PCC650B jigsaw also has an orbital action selector switch that has three settings. The Level 2 setting is designed for fast rough straight wood cuts. The Level 1 setting is for fast and smooth straight wood cuts. And the Level 0 setting is specifically used for accurate straight and curved cuts to yield a smooth finish.

One of the neat features I particularly liked when using the jigsaw was the tool free changing of saw blades. Simply engage the lock-off button and remove the battery for safety purposes. Then turn the jigsaw upside down, and push on the blade release lever. With the blade release lever depressed you simply slide in a saw blade or remove one. Then release the lever to lock it in place.

The PCC650B jigsaw also has an adjustable shoe plate so that you can make beveled cuts. The shoe plate is loosened via a 3mm Allen wrench that comes with the saw. Once loosened, the shoe plate can be adjusted to yield beveled cuts from 0 to 45 degrees.

The jigsaw is also very well ergonomically designed. It is rugged, light weight and well balanced. It also has a form fitting rubberized grip that enables complete control when cutting with it.
